The Inheritance of Abraham

This is Pieter de Waal with the second article of
my e-course: "God's Process for His Purposes".

As you continue this course, you will learn the
process that God will be using to take you, step by step, into the fulfilment of your life's purpose.

God's Process for His Purposes
Part 2 - "The Inheritance of Abraham"

I know that you are an Internet user. I want to start off by telling you that the bible has much in common with the Internet. Both were written by multiple authors from all parts of life, both have universal appeal, both cross international barriers and both get translated into many languages.

They also have many differences. The biggest difference is that even with all that diversity, the bible still maintains a unified whole and a central theme, because of its Godly inspiration. And that central theme, believe it or not,
is prosperity . . . your prosperity!

When God called Abraham, He told him the following.

"I will bless you and make your name famous, so that you
will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I
will curse those who curse you. And through you I will
bless all the nations."
(Gen 12:2-3)

That's nice, isn't it?
Wouldn't you like to have the
same promise from God?

Actually you do!
This promise is repeated in the New
Testament to all who have faith.

"Consider the experience of Abraham; as the scripture says, "He believed God, and because of his faith God accepted him as righteous." You should realize, then, that the real descendants of Abraham are the people who have faith.
The scripture predicted that God would put the Gentiles right with himself through faith. And so the scripture announced the Good News to Abraham: "Through you God will bless all people." Abraham believed and was blessed; so all who believe are blessed as he was."

(Gal 3:6-9)

Abraham is called the spiritual
father of all who believe.

"And so the promise was based on faith, in order that the promise should be guaranteed as God's free gift to all of Abraham's descendants---not just to those who obey the Law, but also to those who believe as Abraham did.
For Abraham is the spiritual father of us all."
(Rom 4:16)

This inheritance of all the promises of Abraham
can only come to us through Christ.

"If you belong to Christ, then you are the descendants of Abraham and will receive what God has promised."
(Gal 3:29)

Jesus confirmed this in no uncertain terms.

"I have come in order that you might have life---
life in all its fullness."
(John 10:10)

God is a cool God and His plan for your life rocks!

Called to be a Warrior

This is Pieter de Waal with the first article of
the "God's Process for His Purposes" e-course.

God's Process for His Purposes
Part 1 - "You are called to be a warrior"

Do you have what it takes to
be the next faith hero?

Father God has great
plans for your life.

He designed you and gave you life with a specific purpose in mind. You are part of
God's strategic plan for the future.

The devil also has plans for your life.

He wants to steal and destroy
everything that God has for you.

Whose plans will prevail?

This course will give
you the inside edge.

We all know that Satan is no match for God.
So why then do we need to consider the devil at all?

Simply because God gave you a free will and the ability to choose for yourself. He is not going to override your
decisions, not even for your own good!

Your future lies in your own hands. God will work His ways in your life only when you give him permission to do so or when you pray to Him to intervene. He gave you authority over certain matters and you have the responsibility to exert it.

Like the gladiators of old, you must take up the armor of God and wage war on the powers of darkness.

Ephesians 6 tells us about this armor, but there is also much that it doesn't tell us. It tells us about the helmet of salvation, but it does not say exactly what the helmet is, how to put it on or how to wear it. The same is also true for the other pieces of the armor. More information on the armor of God can be found on the Gladiators for God website.

You will notice that I have also included various robes as part of God's armor. These are not mentioned in Ephesians 6, but are ultimately as much part of God's protection as any of the more well-known pieces of the armor.

There are many powerful, life-changing secrets related to these robes that will be revealed in my e-books. Don't miss out!

As you continue this course, you will not only learn more about the armor of God, but also about the principles of progress and promotion in God's army.

In my next session, I will tell you more about the
inheritance of Abraham and how it affects your destiny.
Till then, God bless you.

The glory of a Testament

Hi, folks. Pieter here again . . . with a message of grace.

"Life is a Song. Sing it!"
Sometimes, when we read the bible, we miss the real message. Take the following passage from Jeremiah for example. Nothing in this passage should give us any hope or any reason for happiness. Yet, when we dig deeper, the truth it reveals is profound!
"The officials of Judah and of Jerusalem, together with the palace officials, the priests, and all the leaders, made a covenant with me by walking between the two halves of a bull that they had cut in two. But they broke the covenant and did not keep its terms. So I will do to these people what they did to the bull. I will hand them over to their enemies, who want to kill them, and their corpses will be eaten by birds and wild animals. "(Jer 34:18-20)
This passage is clear about what happens when we break God's covenant. The law of God is without mercy!
However, this does not mean that God is without mercy. Even while the punishment for breaking this covenant was meted out, there was also another covenant active.
Enters Abraham, the father of faith....... God had set up the same covenant with him.
Abram brought the animals to God, cut them in half, and placed the halves opposite each other in two rows; but he did not cut up the birds. (Gen 15:10)
But God had a trick up his sleeve.... First he put Abraham to sleep.
When the sun was going down, Abram fell into a deep sleep. (Gen 15:12)
Then God took Abraham's place between the offerings.
When the sun had set and it was dark, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch suddenly appeared and passed between the pieces of the animals. Then and there the LORD made a covenant with Abram. (Gen 15:17-18)
So when the time came for punishment for the breaking of this covenant, God took it upon Himself.
For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose. (Rom 5:6)
Not only did He die on our behalf, he even left us a Testament!
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (Heb 9:16 AV)
And everyone through faith can inherit the promises to Abraham.
And so the promise was based on faith, in order that the promise should be guaranteed as God's free gift to all of Abraham's descendants---not just to those who obey the Law, but also to those who believe as Abraham did. For Abraham is the spiritual father of us all; (Rom 4:16)
Abraham, as father of faith, demonstrates the process, the route we must take to inherit.
And this process is all based on the interpretation of the Tabernacle of Moses as a type of Christ.

If you are going to follow this blog and continue the journey to your divine destiny by following God's process for His purpose in your life, you should believe in the process. It is real, and I will prove it to you.
Until next time....
